I want to get an anniversary gift for a friend who is Greek. Does Greece have a national flower, or what type of flowers are known for growing in Greece ? |

The majority of women in Greece love and welcome all kind of flowers as a gift.
I would say that roses, orchids, lilies and gerberas are very welcomed. Also bouquets or boxes of well matched flowers always enthuse and dazzle women.
Have in mind that as all over the world red roses in Greece denote romance, love and passion.
If the present is going to be addressed to a man I would suggest that you prefer an impressing plant with green leaves in a pot rather than bunch of flowers.
If you are interested in sending flowers as a gift for wedding anniversary to a friend, I think that a floral arrangement would be perfect. |
