| According to our knowledge, about one third of Greeks live in the broader region of Athens and one tenth in Greek islands. The population of the 2nd larger city called Thessaloniki is 1,500,000, so the rest 50% of Greeks live in the rest mainland Greece. Please note that Greece's total population is approx. 10,200,000 according to the National Statistical Service of Greece. |
